We are a member of six surrounding chambers of commerce and the BBB.  We are a member of the VLA (Virginia Limousine Association) and the NLA (National Limousine Association) which helps us to grow with the industry. Part of being a member helps us stay on top of rules and regulations.

On behalf of Executive, we would like to pass on questions you should ask before you book chauffeured transportation.

  1. Does the company hold a VALID operating authority license, issued by the state, and is insured by a reputable insurance company, that covers “FOR HIRE” vehicles? Is the vehicle tagged as “FOR HIRE” by the DMV? You may not be protected if a company is not in compliance.

  2. Does the company screen and test their chauffeurs?

  3. Do the vehicles have trackers and are they monitored?

  4. Ask for references – do not just judge by Facebook or a website. Call your local BBB or Chamber of Commerce.

  5. Be sure the company follows all rules and regulations set forth by DMV laws/ABC laws. Some overlooked ones are Capacity limits for each vehicle, minors in a vehicle without adult supervision. If alcohol is present, make sure every passenger must be of legal drinking age.

  6. In the state of Virginia, by ABC laws, a Limousine service cannot offer to provide alcohol or “complimentary champagne” for clients. It is up to the client to provide any alcoholic beverages for the vehicle.
